Underfall Yard

A group project exploring a resilient, adaptive reuse building that transforms the remains of a fire damaged building into a new music venue. Inspired by the site’s history and loss, the design preserves surviving structural elements while introducing flexible performance spaces, recording studios and community studios. Charred textures are retained as a memory of the past, contrasted with new structure. The centre supports emerging artists and reconnects the local music scene- symbolizing rebirth through creativity. It stands as both a memorial and a forward looking space for collaboration, expression and cultural regeneration.
